A classic beer cheese fondue recipe that takes less than 30 minutes to make. Beer and cheese are a match made in heaven.

Ingredients
½
lb
sharp cheddar cheese
½
lb
gruyère cheese
1
tbsp
cornstarch
1
clove garlic
more if desired
1
cup
beer
used Yuengling
fresh cracked pepper
to taste
brown mustard
to taste, if desired
milk
if needed to thin it out
Instructions
In a small bowl, grate cheese and add tbsp cornstarch. Set aside.
In a pot, add the crushed garlic and brown over medium/low heat.
Once it is browned and aromatic add the beer. Heat to a simmer.
Slowly add cheese until it melts, stirring constantly.
Once ingredients are fully combined then pour into the already heated fondue pot.
Notes
Leftovers can we reheated in fondue pot or in the microwave.
Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
