Chocolate Caramel Apple Bark

Equipment

Ingredients

  • 3 cups milk chocolate melts you can use chocolate chips
  • 1 cup caramel dip
  • ½ large Granny Smith apple you can use any type of apple and use more or less, whatever you prefer
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice

Instructions

  • Have your prepared cookie sheet ready with parchment paper on top of a rimmed baking sheet. I used a 9"x12" pan.
  • In a microwave safe bowl, add your chocolate to melt. Heat at 30 second increments. Stir after each 30 seconds and repeat until the chocolate is melted and smooth.

  • After melted, pour the chocolate onto the parchment paper and spread it around in an even layer.

  • Place in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to set up.
  • Wash and core your apple. Cut into bite sized chunks. Place in a small bowl and toss with the lemon juice to help to keep the apple from browning.

  • Once the chocolate has set up, remove from the refrigerator. Now you can take the caramel dip and you can spread it over the set up chocolate.

  • Then sprinkle your diced apples on top of the caramel.

  • Then place the bark back into the refrigerator for at least 30 more minutes, preferably 1 hr.
