Chocolate Pudding Brownies

Chewy brownie recipe slice.
One of my Grandma's recipes, these Chocolate Pudding Brownies are delicious and easy to make.

Equipment

  • 8" square pan

Ingredients

  • 3.9 ounce instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/3 cup butter melted
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 cup walnuts optional
  • nonstick cooking spray

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 ℉ degrees.
  • Combine instant chocolate pudding mix, flour, and baking powder in a large mixing bowl.
  • Add sugar to melted butter. Mix and then add to pudding, flour mixture. Combine.
  • Beat in eggs, one at a time. Add vanilla and nuts (optional).
  • Pour the batter into the pan and spread the brownie batter into a greased 8-inch square pan, making sure to get to the side of the dish. Bake for 35 minutes at 350 degrees.
  • Cool in pan.

Notes

Let cool at least 20 minutes before cutting into squares. 
Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to a week.
Delicious served warm with vanilla ice cream.
