Mini Crescent Cinnamon Rolls

Easy and delicious mini cinnamon rolls. They use a canned crescent roll as the dough. A simple delicious sugar, cinnamon filling, and vanilla creamer to create a soft and creamy roll.

Ingredients

  • 1 can refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 2 tbsp butter softened
  • ½ cup brown sugar dark or light brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • cup vanilla creamer

Icing

  • ½ cup powdered sugar confectioners sugar
  • 1 tsp milk

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350℉. Place parchment paper in a small baking dish.
  • Sprinkle a little flour on a work surface, open the can of crescent rolls. Lay flat and press the seams together to create a one rectangle with the dough.

  • Spread the softened butter over the surface of the dough.
  • In a small bowl mix together the brown sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle it over the butter.

  • Roll of the dough, starting with one of the long sides. Slice into 8 pieces.

  • Place the rolls into the parchment lined baking dish. Drizzle the vanilla creamer over the rolls and place in the preheated oven.

  • Bake for about 30 minutes, until the tops are golden brown.

Icing

  • If you desire icing, mix together the powdered sugar and milk until smooth.
  • Pour over the top of the cinnamon rolls after they've cooled at least 5 minutes.

Notes

Serve warm or cold. 
Place leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature or in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
The cinnamon rolls can be reheated in the microwave. My preferred method is 20 seconds at 50% power. Then 10 seconds full power.
