Pumpkin Spice Donuts

Pumpkin Spice Donuts that are easy to make and baked in the oven.

Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoons nutmeg
  • 1/8 teaspoons ground cloves
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup pumpkin fresh or canned, just not pumpkin pie filling
  • 1/2 cup low-fat milk

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350. Spray your donut pan with nonstick spray.
  • Combine the dry ingredients in a bowl: flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves.
  • Whisk until combined.
  • In another bowl combine oil, sugar, egg, vanilla, pumpkin, and milk.
  • Whisk until combined.
  • Add dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
  • Use a spoon to fill your donut pan troughs to about 3/4 full.
  • Tap the pan on the counter gently to try to remove any bubbles and help it settle.
  • Bake for about 15 minutes until donuts have risen and are firm to the touch.
  • Serve warm with powder sugar or let cool and make an icing glaze with water and powdered sugar.
