Hi... I'm Maryann from Southern California. My blog has become a place to share the things I'm passionate about. I'm a bargain-lovin' gal who looks to transform the ugly duckling into a beautiful swan. I also share recipes and home tips that I find all in the pursuit of making a happy hearth.

I LOVE paint! I love how quickly and easily it can transform a room or any item. To feed my love of all things paint related I started the Power of Paint Party (POPP). The PoPP starts every Tuesday night at 7 pm (PST) and runs through Friday at 7 pm (PST). Then on Saturday morning I have a PoPP Spotlight where I feature some of the most clicked paint projects and a few of my favorites. If you LOVE paint like I do this is the place to come share your paint related goodies and to be inspired by all the things paint. I hope to see you and your paint projects soon.

I have a fascination with burlap. It's so simple, yet rustic and warms up a space so perfectly. I start burlap beauties after my first printing on burlap creation... my Laundry Defined sign. Since then I have created other images and text signs that you can see if you click on the Burlap Beauties spot over there on the menu bar. I also can make custom signs as well.
