Instructions
My apple pie filling can be found here. You can make this days in advance or purchase store bought if you prefer. You can use the pie filling still warm or cold. Either way taste great.
Follow the directions for my crumb topping here. Get it in the oven before starting the funnel cakes. Let it cool at least 20 minutes before crumbling it into pieces.

Place a funnel cake on a plate and sprinkle with powdered sugar. Scoop about ½ cup of apple pie filling on top. Add a couple scoops of your prefered ice cream. Finish with a sprinkling of the crumb topping.
Notes
This funnel cake recipe can be switched up with your favorite fruit topping. It would be delicious with cherries or peaches too!
