This Creamy Garlic Pasta Dish is a great weeknight dinner recipe. It’s loaded with great garlic flavor yet can be made in under 30 minutes. With everyone’s lives being so busy, a quick and easy recipe is always a win. I had a chance to try Best Foods® Drizzle Sauce in the Roasted Garlic flavor. I’m a huge fan of garlic and was instantly inspired to use it to create a pasta dish.

I picked up the Best Foods® Drizzle Sauce in Roasted Garlic, Creamy Chili Honey, and Knorr® Chicken Bouillon at my local Vallarta Supermarket to create this pasta dish. Let’s get into making this great pasta dish.
Creamy Garlic Pasta Ingredient
- 1/4 cup Best Foods® Drizzle Sauce, Roasted Garlic,
- Best Foods® Drizzle Sauce, Creamy Chili Honey, optional
- 1 tsp Knorr® Chicken Bouillon
- 4 slices of bacon
- 1 lb Rigatoni pasta or whatever shape you like
- 1/4 cup of butter
- 1/4 cup of flour
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 6 basil leaves
Making Creamy Garlic Pasta
Start by cooking your bacon slices. My preferred method is to place the bacon on a parchment-lined baking sheet in a 400-degree oven for about 25 minutes. You want the bacon to be cooked well so it can be cut up and crumbled on top.
While the bacon is cooking, start a large pot of water and 1 tbsp of salt to boil over high heat.
Once the bacon is cooked, remove and place on a paper-towel-lined plate.
When the water comes to a boil, add your pasta to the salted, boiling water. Follow the directions on the box for how long to cook your pasta. Set a timer.
In a large skillet, add your butter and turn the heat to medium. Once the butter melts, sprinkle the flour on top and whisk continuously for 1 minute. Now add the chicken broth you made with the Knorr® Chicken Bouillon. Whisk until combined. Now add the heavy cream. Whisk again.
Add the basil. You can slice the basil into small pieces or tear the leaves up.
Now give the sauce a taste. I added about 1 teaspoon of salt and about 1/2 teaspoon of pepper to mine.
Once the pasta is finished cooking, drain and add it to your creamy garlic sauce! Toss the noodles to coat.
Finish your dish by cutting up your bacon into small pieces and sprinkling them on top of the dish.
