Teriyaki Turkey Burgers

With the beautiful weather that most of us are experiencing I had to share with you one of my favorite BBQ recipes.

Itemed Needed:

Ground Turkey

Asian salad dressing

Swiss cheese

pineapple rings

buns

and any other fixins you like

Put your ground turkey in a bowl and pour about 1/4 cup of the dressing on top.  Then get your hands all slimy mixing it together.  I let it sit about 1/2 hour.. if I’ve got time.  Then start grilling your turkey burgers.  In the last few minutes, put Swiss cheese on top of your burgers to melt and throw the pineapple rings and buns on the grill too.  Flip the rings after a minute of two.  I assembly my burgers at the grill.

Bun… turkey burger with cheese… pineapple ring… bun…. yum!

I’m a plain girl!

Wanna bite?

  1. Thanks for the recipe! I love anything with pineapple! I just posted a recipe for pineapple casserole on my food blog. If you're interested, it's at lauriesfoodfiles.blogspot.com

I'll definitely try this burger soon – great for warm weather!

  3. MMMMmmm…we raise turkeys, and I have Turkey Tuesday every week. Would you mind if I linked to your post this week?

  4. Ok I am a wanna be good cook and have no idea what asian salad dressing is… help.. :)

  5. Maryann @ Domestically-Speaking says:

Debbie… Different areas of the country or world might call it something different. It's the dressing they use for Chinese Chicken Salad… so it might be called that or a Sesame Dressing. If your area doesn't carry that you could use a Teriyaki marinade as a substitute. I'm sure that would work too, I would maybe not sure as much though.

I am all about some burgers! We will definitely have to try this! :o ) Thanks.

  7. Just so you know, I hate to cook. :) But this looks simple and a family has to eat so this is the FIRST recipe that I have ever bookmarked.
