Our family loves grilling.  Thankfully we enjoy great grilling weather most of the year here in Southern California, but we especially enjoy it during the summer.   If you ask my kids what they want to bbq their pick would always be cheeseburgers!  This past weekend was our youngest daughter’s birthday so I decided to make up some extra special cheeseburgers…  Cheese Filled Burgers with Barbecue Ranch Dressing!  #SayCheeseburger #CollectiveBias

Cheese Filled Burgers with Barbecue Ranch Dressing

Here’s how I made them….

Cheese Filled Burgers

I gathered up my ingredients that I had purchased at Walmart earlier in the week.

I start by making a ball with the ground beef, then pull it open forming a pit.

Stuff the cheese inside the hamburger

I filled it with shredded Colby and Monterey Jack cheese.  Then I pressed the sides together and seamed it up.  Then gently flattened into patties.

While the grill was heating up I mixed equal part of ranch dressing and barbecue sauce.

While grilling the Cheese Filled Burgers I seasoned them with seasoning salt and pepper… I like them simple.

In the final moments of grilling I placed a slice of Colby Jack cheese on each hamburger patty.

Then I spread some of the barbecue ranch sauce on one of the buns.

Melted cheese pouring out of the cheeseburger

The results are delicious with that gooey cheese surprise in the middle.

So if you’re looking for a great cheeseburger to try this summer this Cheese Filled Cheeseburger is it!

    1. Hi Debra ~ I made the burgers pretty thick and made sure that when I closed the meat around the cheese that it was closed up well.

  4. Ok, listen. I am not sure how much it will cost to fly you here and have you make these by, say, 6PM tonight but… since my “addiction to cheese” is even mentioned in the “about me” section on my sidebar, you must know thatI must have these NOW. Pinned and shared!!
