Patriotic Marshmallow Pops (Mallo-Pops)
These Patriotic Marshmallow Pops are a quick and yummy treat that kiddos and adults will like. They are perfect for Memorial Day, the 4th of July, Flag Day, and Labor Day.
Patriotic Marshmallow Pops Supplies:
- Star shaped marshmallows
- Melting Chocolate (I used white and milk chocolate)
- lollipop sticks
- sprinkles or colored sugars
Insert the stick into the marshmallows making sure you don’t poke it through the top.
I melted my chocolate in the microwave. I usually start with 30 seconds and then give it a stir to see how it’s melting. Continue with 30 second increments until the chocolate is melted and smooth without chunks.
Dip the star marshmallows in the chocolate and then immediately sprinkle with your red and blue sprinkles.
I let them dry on parchment paper to prevent sticking. If you want to quicken the process you can toss them in the freezer for a few minutes.
This cutie loved hers after a hot softball game!
These Marshmallow Pops are a fun activity for your kiddos to help out with too. My seven-year-old helped to make this batch.
