Low Carb, Sugar Free Chocolate Milkshake

Thanks for Sharing!

Hey y’all! It’s Hannah from Through the Lens again with one of our favorite snacks!

Who doesn’t love a thick, creamy milkshake in their life? But, who loves all those calories and what it does to your hips? Yeah, me neither. This mock shake is one of our favorites. The first time I made this, Luke was hooked. We have it almost daily now. Ha!

Now, some of the ingredients are different and you might have them on hand or want to purchase them. That’s totally fine! But they all have a purpose in the shake and for your health, but you can make it without them just fine.

Easy Mock Chocolate Milkshake made with Almond Milk. It's Low Carb, Low Fat, Sugar Free but full of flavor!

{This is a single serve serving size- double or triple it as needed}  (contains affiliate links for your convenience)

Ingredients:
1 cup unsweetened almond milk
1 TBSP. cocoa powder
pinch of salt
dash of vanilla extract
3 TBSP. lowfat cottage cheese
1/2 scoop Young Living’s Pure Protein Complete

1-2 squirts of liquid stevia or choice of sweetener
1 TBSP. sunflower letichin (not needed, but super healthy and makes it extra creamy)
1/4 tsp. gluccomanan (not needed, but super healthy and makes it extra creamy and thick)
1/2-1 tray of ice cubes

Directions:
Put the almond milk and cottage cheese in the blender. Add all the ingredients but ice and mix well for 1 minute (this helps make it creamy). Then add ice and blend until nice and thick. Enjoy for a hearty snack, or as a dessert!

Hope you enjoy!

Sincerely,
Hannah Diane

  1. Could Fat free Greek yogurt work in place of cottage cheese? I just used the last one mine up on Lazy Lasagna tonight.
