How To Make Apple Spice Dump Cake
Ingredients:
- spice cake mix
- apple pie filling
- melted butter
Preheat and Prep:
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Then I spray a 9×13 baking pan with nonstick cooking spray.
Layering the Goodness:
Dump your cans of apple pie filling into the bottom of the dish and spread evenly to fill the bottom of the pan.

Add the Cake Mix:
Sprinkle the dry cake mix over the top of the apple pie filling. Spice cake mix is great because it already has all those wonderful fall spices: cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, etc. You want an even coating of the spiced cake mix over the apples. Don’t worry about mixing—this is a dump cake, after all!

Drizzle with Butter:
Then you will pour the melted butter over the top of the cake mix.

Bake to Perfection:
That’s it! Then you put it in the oven to bake for about 45 minutes. The top should be golden brown, and you’ll be greeted with the wonderful aroma of fall spices

Ingredients
- 1 spice cake mix mine was a 15.25 ounce size & I used Betty Crocker
- 2 cans apple pie filling they were 20 ounce canes (21 ounce will work too)
- ¾ cup butter melted
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350° F. Spray a 9×13 baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
- Dump your 2 cans of apple pie filling into the baking dish and spread to cover the base.

- Sprinkle the spice cake mix over the apple pie filling.

- Drizzle the top. of the cake mix with the melted butter.

- Bake the cake for 45-50 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
- Cool 20-30 minutes before serving.

Customize Your Dump Cake
You can always jazz up your apple spice cake some more. Before baking, you could add some chopped pecans or any other favorite nuts you like.
Finishing your apple dump cake I prefer vanilla ice cream. Another great option is whipped cream. Both are delicious options. A drizzle of caramel sauce would be the perfect finishing touch.

I used a Betty Crocker cake mix and it was a can of 20 ounce pie filling. You can use a 21 ounce also.
