16 Ways to Upgrade Your Garage Door

Happy Thursday Friends… the weekend is knocking on our door and today we’re talking about garage doors… sorry I couldn’t resist.   If you’re new here I would love to have you follow me on Instagram and Pinterest to keep up with all my latest projects!  A couple months ago I shared with you guys how we used gel stain to completely update our aluminum, painted garage door.

It’s one of the easiest DIY projects we’ve tackled with the biggest impact.  Our door had been baked facing the east and the paint was so faded.  You can read all about out DIY Garage Door Makeover with Stain here.  I’m going to try out the same process on our front door, once our temps drop below 90 during the day.

  4. That’s amazing to see what a stain could do for a garage door. My garage door is a little outdated, so I think that my husband and I are going to look for new ones. I’m hoping that we can find one before our family comes over next week.

  8. This is good to know. I was considering hiring a contractor to come out and fix up our door, but it looks like something we can manage. I’m planning to repaint the exterior, but I think we’ll attempt to insulate it on our own before enlisting in the help of a professional.
