The holiday season is upon us, and what better way to celebrate than with a delightful treat that combines the classic flavors of peppermint and chocolate? I’ve got the perfect recipe for you – an Easy Peppermint Chocolate Cream Pie that’s not only a breeze to make but also a surefire crowd-pleaser. This time of year it’s all about the cookies, pies, treats and more, so below you’ll find a bunch of other great holiday recipe ideas from my blogging friends.
Ingredients:
- pre-made graham cracker crust
- chocolate pudding mix
- milk
- peppermint extract
- crushed candy canes
- whipped topping or whipped cream
This pie can be whipped up in less than 20 minutes and it’s a gorgeous pie to bring along to a Christmas party!
Making the Peppermint Chocolate Cream Pie
Prepare the Pudding:
Start by whisking together the chocolate pudding mix, cold milk, and peppermint extract in a bowl. Follow the package instructions to ensure a smooth and creamy consistency.
Add the Whip:
Add some of the whipped topping to the pudding mixture. This helps to lighten up the dessert. If you prefer you can whip up some heavy cream and use that instead.
Chill Out:
Pop your pie into the refrigerator and let it chill for at least 2 hours. This will allow all the flavors to meld together, creating a decadent and refreshing dessert.
Whip it Good:
Once your pie has set, generously spread the whipped topping over the chocolatey goodness. Feel free to get creative with the swirling patterns – after all, we eat with our eyes first!
Final Touch:
Sprinkle some crushed candy canes on top for a festive touch. This not only adds a burst of color but also that extra punch of peppermint flavor.

Question – the recipe says a large pudding package (5.85oz is what I have) and 1 3/4c milk but to mix according to pie directions on the box. The box calls for twice as much milk. So which amount of milk should I use?? I’m assuming what this recipe says?
Yum. This looks absolutely delicious!
