Cheese Stuffed Cheeseburger Recipe
Our family loves grilling. Thankfully we enjoy great grilling weather most of the year here in Southern California, but we especially enjoy it during the summer. If you ask my kids what they want to bbq their pick would always be cheeseburgers! One of the most requested types of burgers for dinner from my family is this Cheese Stuffed Cheeseburger… and why not, the more cheese the better!
Cheese Stuffed Cheeseburger
You can prep your hamburger meat however you like. It varies what I use. Some times it’s simple salt and pepper. Other times I add some Worcestershire sauce and seasoning salt to the meat.
I start by making a ball with the ground beef, then pull it open forming a pit. I filled it with shredded Colby and Monterey Jack cheese. If you like some spice a Pepperjack is great. Then I pressed the sides together and seamed it up. Then gently flattened into patties.
In the final moments of grilling I placed a slice of Colby Jack cheese on each hamburger patty.
For this burger I spread a little BBQ Ranch on one side of the bun. If you’ve never tried a BBQ Ranch it’s a game changer – super simple to make just combining your favorite BBQ sauce with some ranch dressing.
Who can resist that ooey-gooey cheese!
I hope your family loves these too Cheese Stuffed Cheeseburgers too. And if you LOVE cheese check these out….

Dumb question, but I don’t really cook.. Do these have to be grilled or do they work just the same making them in a skillet on the stove?
My boyfriend would go nuts over these – I have to try them! Thanks for sharing at #HomeMattersParty
