Spicy Meatball Sliders
These Spicy Meatball Sliders are perfect for the upcoming holidays! They make a great appetizer or meal. I have some family members who love some heat and these meatballs deliver. These little sliders are so cute and absolutely delicious too.
Recipes that are easy to put together are always my favorite. My husband and son love meatballs so I figured if they were a great price and looked delicious, I’d give them a try. They didn’t disappoint. I’ve purchased them multiple times since then.
The Sicilian is our favorite. They are juicy and full of flavor with their warm heat. They have a great red pepper flavor to them. You can tell they are authentically crafted.
Spicy Meatball Slider Ingredients:
- Carando Sicilian Italian Style Meatballs
- favorite marinara sauce (mine has garlic, parmesan cheese, and olive oil in it)
- chopped Italian parsley (or fresh basil if you prefer)
- 1-2 cups grated mozzarella cheese (you could use provolone cheese)
- 12 slider size rolls (small dinner rolls or Hawaiian style rolls work great)
Spicy Meatball Slider Directions:
Preheat your oven to 400 degrees. While your oven is preheating chop your Italian parsley and grate your mozzarella cheese.
Once the oven is preheated place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with foil. Bake on one side for 10 minutes.
After 10 minutes flip the meatballs and place back into the oven for 6 minutes on the other side.
Meanwhile, slice your slider rolls in half.
Sprinkle some grated mozzarella cheese on the bottom slider bun. Add a heaping tablespoon of marinara sauce on top. Repeat on all the slider bun bottoms.
After the meatballs have cooked for 6 minutes on the other side, place a meatball in the center of the slider bun base.
Add another scoop of marinara and another sprinkling of grated mozzarella cheese on top of each meatball. Place the top of the slider bun on each and put back into the oven for 5 minutes for the cheese to melt. It’s toasting the bun a little too. If you like a buttery slider you could brush the top of the buns with garlic butter. Melted butter with some garlic powder and then brush on top before you place it in the oven.
Serve hot to your lucky family and/or friends!
These meatballs are also great served with marinara sauce and your favorite pasta. My son loves eating them just baked with nothing added to them… he says they are great all by themselves. I hope you get a chance to try these Spicy Meatball Sliders soon.
